Thai Yoga Bodywork: Ancient Movement, Modern Relief
Discover a unique and transformative approach to pain relief and enhanced mobility with our Thai Yoga Bodywork service. This ancient healing art, practiced for thousands of years, is now offered on the massage table for your ultimate comfort and deep, lasting results.
This is not a passive massage. Thai Yoga Bodywork is an interactive, therapeutic experience often called "assisted yoga” or “lazy yoga” for the receiver. While you relax, your therapist will gently move your body through a series of stretches and apply targeted manual techniques to release tension at its source.
What to Expect During Your Session:
You remain fully clothed in comfortable, flexible attire.
The session is performed on a padded massage table for enhanced support and precision. While some techniques may be performed on the mat/floor.
It is a dynamic, moving meditation. Your therapist uses their hands, forearms, feet, and sometimes knees to apply pressure and guide your body.
You will be gently stretched, compressed, and rocked. This combination creates a deeply integrative and relaxing experience.
The Techniques We Use:
Your therapist skillfully blends a variety of advanced techniques to address your specific needs, including:
Assisted Yoga Stretches: To improve flexibility and joint range of motion.
Gentle Rocking: To calm the nervous system and loosen joints.
Strategic Compressions: Using palms and thumbs to enhance energy flow and circulation.
Myofascial Release: Targeted kneading and circular friction to release the connective tissue (fascia) that contributes to pain and stiffness.

Improve mobility in the shoulders, neck, and hips
Correct postural imbalances and movement dysfunction

What to Expect Afterwards: You might feel soreness similar to post-workout. This occurs due to the release of tight muscles and fascial tissues and is a normal part of the healing process, especially after deep stretching and abdominal work. Drinking plenty of water helps reduce soreness and flush out toxins.
