FAQ About Body Contouring
Which Service Should I Choose?
Cavitation = main goal is “REDUCING FAT” in LARGER areas
Radio frequency = main goal is “TIGHTENING SKIN” and IMPROVING FIRMNESS
SculpScure = main goal is “PRECISE FAT REDUCTION” in SMALLER, TARGETED AREAS
Is there any discomfort in receiving the service?
Yes and No.
Stomach - high-pitched buzzing sound due to the low frequency used….the higher the settings (you determine), the higher the sound
Arms - heat sensitivity based on your settings (you determine)
Face - heat sensitivity is possible, usually once contact is made on the skin. The other areas where you may be prone to sensitivity or need the setting decreased will be around the eye and along the forehead.
ALSO DUE TO SOME PROCEDURES REQUIRING SLOWER REPETITION, THIS CAN ALSO INCREASE THE HEAT SENSITIVITY.
What happens if I need to lower the pressure or heat during my session?
This is normal; however, you will see an imbalance in results. This means that areas with the same setting should look proportional in their results; however, the area where you need a decrease will not have the same results.
How much water should I drink before and after?
It’s recommended that you drink 1.5-2 liters per day throughout your treatment.
How many sessions can I have in a week?
Face - only twice a week due to radio frequency waves
Body cavitation - only twice a week due to the ultrasound waves
Do I need to use sunscreen?
Yes.
Face - SPF 30
Body - SPF 40
Why is the first session more expensive than the remaining sessions?
The first session includes a $25 consultation fee.
I’m interested in both Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and BodySculpting. Which should I choose?
Typically, you will need to do 6 MLD sessions on that specific body area, then use the BodySculpting machine as maintenance. The MLD sessions will manually flush excess fluid from the body, which will help your results last longer and achieve a better outcome.
Can I mix and match when purchasing a package?
No. For the best results, you need to receive at minimum 6 sessions on that specific body area.
How soon should I see results?
You should see results immediately, but the best results are 24-48 hours later. It’s recommended that you take pictures 24 and 48 hours later and send it to the therapist to put in side by side to monitor your progress.
