1. What should I expect my for my first appointment?
For your first appointment, please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. We will discuss what issues you are having, the massage session, and communication in terms of pressure, room temperature and comfort level.
2. what if i'm late for an appointment?
Time is of the essence and you need to make every effort to be on time. If you are late, i still have the right to charge you the an additional $25 and only give you what is remaining of your time.
3. Would it benefit me to arrive 10-15 minutes early to my session?
it would definitely benefit you to arrive early depending on my schedule. however, please do not arrive more than 30 minutes early expecting to receive your session, unless i approved it.
4. how often should I receive a massage?
if you're performing self-care in between your massage sessions, i would suggest booking a regular appointment every 4-6 weeks at minimum. However, you're not watching your posture or performing self care, you may need to come in every 2 weeks. Also, your time and your personal finances will play a key part in how often you come.
5. How do I purchase a gift certificate and how long is it valid?
You can purchase a gift certificate online through the link in the header or purchase one at your visit. The gift certificate will expire 6-months from the date of purchase. Under no circumstances will you be able to use a gift certificate after it has expired. If Healing the Mind Body Connection, LLC donates a gift certificate it will expire within 3-6 months from the date it was given.
6. do you take last minute appointments?
sometimes. I do not live in the area and have other jobs. therefore, every minute of my day may already be accounted for. So planning ahead is the key. please utilize my online booking system, so you will know 24 hours a day, 7 days a week what my schedule is at all times for openings.
7. what if I can't reach you by phone?
a majority of the time, i will not answer any phone calls. This is due to me being in with a client or being on another job. This is why i have an online booking system, so you do not have to play phone tag with me. Also, it's important to know that if you don't leave a voicemail, you will not receive a call back. please follow the prompts of leaving a voicemail, texting me or going online to book an appointment to get the quickest response.
8. Do you perform couple massages?
No. I'm the only massage therapist in my business. All appointments are back to back. Your significant other is welcome to wait in the waiting area or come at his or her designated appointment time.
